Photos - Parking Lot

Improvements to the Mallard Bay parking lot were made over a five month period in 2018 and 2019.  The work involved plotting out the location of each of the postholes needed, digging 36 postholes, placing each post in its hole, waiting for several months for rains and water-soaked ground to dry before straightening the posts in their holes, pouring of powdered concrete into each hole, then applying water and waiting for the concrete to set, then stringing nylon rope between the posts.

The effort resulted in several additional parking spaces and a more permanent arrangement of designating parking spaces.  Thanks go to Jim Hanline, Ron Horton, Marshall Sebra, Dale Henderson and John Fartro.
