The Bay Book Club is open to all residents of Mallard Bay and congenial non-resident friends. We meet on the third Sunday of the month at 3 PM in the Mallard Bay clubhouse.

Water aerobics, Step aerobics, and Weight workouts are organized and held by community members and are held at the Clubhouse.
Summer-
Water aerobics is 8am-9am Mon-Sat.
Fall through Spring-
Step and Weight workouts suspended for lack of interest.

Dine-In is designed to have Mallard Bay neighbors get to know each other through informal dinners in their homes and group functions at the Clubhouse.
We meet on the second Saturday of each month, October through May. Attendance at all functions is not mandatory.
The Hosts and Hostesses for the in house Dine In sign up for the November, January, February or April evenings. They meet with the other hosts/hostesses for that month a week or more before the event. They plan the evening’s menu with recipes to be given to their guests. They are responsible for the main entrée, coffee and tea. The Dine In guests are assigned, with recipes, the appetizer, salad, side dishes and dessert. Guests are responsible for their own beverage of choice.
The first get together in 2022 is Saturday, October the 8th at 5:00 P.M. at the clubhouse. You are asked to bring an appetizer to share and your beverage of choice. Coffee and tea will be provided. A signup sheet for hosting will be available.
December 10th is the Christmas party at the Clubhouse with the hosts providing the entrees. Everyone brings a dish to share. A highlight is the “Dirty Santa” gift exchange.
March is the Men’s Brunch at the Clubhouse-where the men of the group cook brunch for everyone. Competition is not only on the playing field.
May wraps up Dine in with a Picnic/Luau at the Clubhouse. Again the hosts provide the entrees and everyone else brings a dish to share.
Due to immunity issues, greater susceptibility and /or family members with compromised immune systems, we are limiting the Dine In to those who have been vaccinated and boosted against Covid.
We hope you can join us on October 8th and consider becoming a member of Dine In.

Water Aerobics - Bring a pool noodle and water weights. For more information, contact Susan Malloy at 301-518-6372.
Weight Workout - Bring hand weights of your choice (usually ranging from 1 to 5 lbs). Lighter weights are better for beginners, advancing to heavier weights as needed. Bring a hand towel or exercise band for stretching.
